Hey everyone, as usual with my posts, they're often facetious. Please don't go crying to your mummies and daddies after reading this. It's just a thought-provoking thread and doesn't necessarily reflect my own personal views!

Has this crisis got any of you guys thinking about how the governments are flexing their muscles right now? "Let's see how far we can go with this?" Sort of attitude. Later on, after the virus passes, they may hang on to some powers.

I remember playing a pc game ages ago called Half-life. It was about the earth after some aliens took it over. Basically, they took over the earth and managed control with psychological manipulation, etc. Propaganda and stuff. Some humans were glorified if they defected to the alien force and they were given more powers to control the masses. The world became almost robotic. People were ordered to stay inside. They eventually all become slaves to the system.

Even now, you have people who are glorifying the government for their decisive move. Glorifying them for 'protecting us' from this 'evil' which is apparently subduing us. Taking away our human rights for our own benefit, as a loving parent does for his children.

Maybe soon, we will have to walk around with RFID tags in our bodies! Every time we go somewhere, a machine will scan us! A worldwide database will log each and every thing we do, everything we buy, and everywhere we go!

Theres already a worldwide database identifying everything you do...generally your mobile phone!

Governments telling you what to do? I guess it's called society? You can drop out of it, but most who do, want society to pay for their lifestyle

RFIDS? No need, certain loons are easy to spot with tinfoil on their heads!

Central

Governments around the world have form for increasing their powers during emergencies and not fully relinquishing them once the issues are over. It's right that citizens should be critically observant, once they have liberties removed.
