Hi guys, I’m currently working as I’m classed as a key worker (transport industry), but the demand of my work has dropped due to the current crisis that we are dealing with.. so I’m thinking there might be some temporary jobs within the NHS or police to help them through the busy period. Does anyone know of where to look?? And I would welcome any comments that people have to say.. thanks in advance and stay safe folks |

Unless you have the relevant qualifications I would think you would be better self isolating.
Good on you for trying to help.
I wouldn't think you would get anywhere with the police either.
The security that are placed in key areas are mostly SIA licensed which requires certification.
Have you tried driving agencies, I know the local one near me are screaming for drivers to meet the current demand. Asda, Tesco and the like. |

Your nearest police force or NHS trust website would be the first place to look but at this time I doubt they'd be looking to take on anyone who isn't front line qualified and can hit the ground running |

Thanks for the replies guys and thanks for the suggestions, but if I’m honest, my job is safe as when work kicks back in, I will be back. I will be at home on 80% of my wages, but I was just thinking that I could possibly help within the current situation. And potentially do something good to help. |
