Okay so our grey bins were meant to be emptied on Thursday. They weren’t. We all got an email from kingdom and the council saying to put our bins in, they weren’t going to be emptied.
So someone took their neighbours bins in, to be helpful!
Then the bin men came this morning. And this girl called ‘Amber’ is fuming on the street Facebook page because the helpful neighbour put her bin in, and it obviously wasn’t emptied. So she wrote on the Facebook page that people need to stop being so fucking ‘in her business’ and to leave her and her family ‘the fuck alone’.
I commented saying I know it’s annoying, but someone was probably just trying to be helpful and we got told to take them in, it’s windy outside and the bins keep getting knocked over so whoever it was, probably didn’t want more rubbish in the street
Oh my god it’s all kicked off. ‘Amber’ started going tits up at me, saying I’m too fucking nosey, was it me who touched her bin (I have no idea where she lives )
So I said again I get it’s annoying but there’s no need to be so hostile. So she called me a bitch. So instead of arguing, I was mature and blocked her. So now I have people defending and arguing on behalf of me, and someone else is arguing on behalf of her...all over a bin
I’m baffled |

My friend (who’s in her late 40s) has just had surgery and a big dog jumped on her, and she has loads of dog shit by her house. She made a post on her local fb page and said letting your dogs off goes against social distancing as you need to come get them...it went viral, everyone was arguing, she was getting abusive messages... |

Ours is currently escalating towards nuclear status over political posts |

Ahh man that’s pants. It’s not good to argue with neighbours. I’m lucky with my neighbours in that we all get on and have a WhatsApp group chat.
She’s completely in the wrong and someone was just being helpful. But it’s stressful times, people will be flipping out over all kinds of crap. |

"Get rid of Facebook problem sorted.
Fella here - mine went last October, life's been so much better, Facebook drains your soul. "
Totally agree with you mate. I’m sick of seeing propaganda, racist, sexist (from both) and political crap from all sides and general lies. When it first came out it was a great way of re connecting with old friends and keeping in touch. |

I get on with the majority of my neighbours and I do have a Facebook group chat with a few. Used to babysit for many of them as well before I had my own baby. But ah well |

Okay this post isn’t about whether I should get rid of Facebook or not
I’m keeping my Facebook. I mostly use it to keep in touch with family and share photos of my baba to family who can’t see him just now.
If you don’t like Facebook, go and make a post about it |

Downside of Internet forums and groups, everyone will argue the toss over the insignificant minor things and blow them out of proportion.
Just have to think: would I say this in a public place in front of close friends/relatives/sainted gran? |

Haha I could get away with it with my mum and her sisters, but never would in front of my late gran |

I’m on the Nextdoor neighbourhood app, I’ve only ever posted once. That was about a dog that had escaped so it could be reunited with it’s owner. Little did I know this would cause uproar. Ppl arguing with each other about dog owners etc etc. Needless to say I left them to it.
I’ve since had a look through and there seems to be folk that just like causing upset, just bizarre |

Facebooks not as bad as people might think, it can be quite entertaining when it kicks of and it’s a great tool finding people with similar interest or keeping in touch with family on a wider scale.
Depends who you follow or have in your friends and what your interested in, but it’s a great tool for keeping updated on un bias and uncensored news. |

People are bored, lonely and scared probably need to let off some steam.
Leave her huff and puff , don't get drawn in.
Then once things get back to normal get her round and give her asshole a good reaming with a strap on! |
