My god it is so depressing reading some of these posts. So much hate in many of them. I have got drawn in to reading but have decided for the betterment of my mental health to stay clear.

Post what you like i for one wont be keeping an eye on you!

It will die down. At the moment people are frightened and they show it in different ways.

Read the positive stuff, join in to keep those threads at the top of the page and running.

I agree. If I have to read another thread about someone complaining about people wanting to meet I'll probably top myself

And before people say "you dont have to read them" well I do, or else I wouldn't know what the thread was about, the titles can be quite misleading

I agree too. Almost every thread ends up in an unpleasant argument and those who like to stir the shit are certainly having a field day with it.

All the scaremongering....if you don't know it for a fact but heard it from your auntie's hairdresser's brother in law, I don't want to know.

I'm finding it all a bit...

Yes you will

You have to love the irony here. Starting a doom and gloom thread ranting about doom and gloom in the forums.

We have noticed an increase in people arguing and being negative. People can be right twonks at times.

Some people are determined to bring negativity to every thread it seems. We won't let it drag us down though. You can't keep a good guy down (unless you use handcuffs of course )

Silly to stay off the forum as the good outweigh the bad but I guess if you haven't got the ability to scroll past the bad without being drawn in then it's a good idea to stay off.

I haven’t been on the forums as much and it’s been quite freeing they tend to suck you into a time vortex.

It's why I dont use the forums much anymore, that and the fact that homophobia and transphobia seems to go entirely unnoticed and unpunished by the admins

Exactly this, I've had some real lows when I think about all that's happening, whether life will ever return to what we knew. I don't mean in here - just the life we took for granted

I'm sticking to the lighthearted stuff for that very reason. Sure some of it is daft but it's better for me to focus on the positive rather than let my anxiety spiral/read unpleasantness.

I havent noticed it so much but yes mostly in the virus thread it can be heated as we all have different views about it.

Yes, how does the transphobia get past the admin people? I've not heard of anyone being reported to police for a hate crime.
