I see a lot of cooking/dining programmes on tv where folk peel their spuds dry. I always peel mine in water in the sink, how do you do yours?

water too as if peeling dry you still get dirt on them from the peel so water in the sink for me too

We don't buy muddy spuds, we get Maris Pipers all nice n clean from Mr Sainsbury.

Dry, then rinse them once peeled.

We don't peel them. A quick scrub is all they need.

since living in my own place, its dry, over a plastic bag.

Yep definitely peel them. What's your favourite spud? Mines Cyprus, love em!! Roasted with whole garlic cloves thrown in

Either or, but regardless of how I do them, they always get washed in fresh water before they are boiled

wilja or reds here.

brother works delivering spuds to chippies so my ma gets a free sack a week and gets the pick of the bunch lol
