In the middle

To be honest I’m enjoying the quiet roads on the way to work and back, enjoying the empty streets, it’s like being in the 70’s all over again, and I’m certainly not missing the hordes of teenage/youth type creatures that blast music out all night in the rec behind my hours

Apart from all the masks and gloves. but I've seen cashiers with none, surely they should be most likely to catch something because of handling so many different people's shopping

There is a little undercurrent of everyone assuming everyone else is diseased which is a little unsettling and I don't really like. One poor lad today was obviously having difficulty understanding the new rules and the cashier was getting a little cross with him, but he was doing his best. We all seem very civilised at toeing the line behind all the stripy tape that has appeared over shop floors all over though. Good citizens.

Didsbury

Have only been out to the shops once in over a week I am trying not to go out not even for the allocated hour exercise. I left going to the shops till my prescription was ready and my dad needed food etc to try and do it all at once. Tesco's I have to say had an amazing set up, yes I waiting and queued to get in but it was all good. Security had everything under control and trolley handles were cleaned, one way in and a different way out. When the store Assistant found out I was trying to find items for my dad who cannot get out due to COPD and my eldest son being stuck in isolation she helped me find the bits I was struggling to find for them while obviously sticking to the required distance away. Everything was well run. And it made me feel a lot less anxious.
