That was part of the joy of it though the WTF element - all four series the storylines were excellent and kept you guessing till the end and the main characters were superbly written and acted - would definitely recommend giving it another go |

The Wire
Best of all time based on a mini series called the corner which was based on real people in Baltimore. The great twist with the corner was that in the last episode the actors and the people their characters were based on actually got to meet for the first time on camera |

Hill street blues was good but the wire is in a league of it's own
