Hi All, have been 5months single. I have never used a dating site and am toying with the idea of designing up to one. Does anyone have any recommendations for a particular site to use for reliable and genuine m_mbers!?
I did toy with the idea of trying to meet a single female on fab as we'd share an obvious interest but I can't just through my face pictures around as I have done so naively as it is a risk to my employment with so many fake accounts on here.

I haven't tried ANY...EVER!! always met people on a night out but now most friends my own age are settled, the opportunity to do it this way just isn't there anymore.
I'd just like to use a site which is genuine m_mbers, so maybe a m_mbership fee would deter the fakes!? |

Match wasn't great for me.. Men mostly boring or deluded. Met one who showed me photos of his ex wife on our first date and got very upset when I said I didn't want to see him again.
OK cupid was alright but like tinder mostly for hook ups
Pof was really bad years ago and I've never been back on
I've got bumble but can't be bothered anymore

Second bumble, the guys and girls on there seem a bit more chatty and switched on.
If sometimes a little vanilla!
A lot of my friends recommend Hinge too, but for serious dating. |

Pof is much better now than it was years ago when it was a one man startup , it got invested and sorted out. Match is the other proper one that was done properly. Tinder obviously, the rest are a bit like this cheap and cheerful but with more fakes and bots. |

You should do ok on it in Essex. It’s a little quiet up here. I can only speak from a male perspective obviously, but there’s a far better quality of people. Its more oriented to this sort of thing than Bumble |

Plenty people on match haven’t paid for m_mbership and are just profile flickers
Many people on have profiles on both sites.
I’d say the majority of men I’ve seen on POF are also on here, m_mbers are actively recruited from dating sites onto here |

Obviously N/A ATM but I thought dating apps such as Badoo and PoF were like Fab as in: 50 men for every one woman.
Women on here have also said that they use PoF for 'dates' whilst also using here for NSA. |

People graduate from PoF onto here. I did. I used to have some good 'intimate encounters' on PoF but I think that bit's gone now. |

they are just internet domains just like this, keep your face pics private and send them to people you speak to after youve sussed they are genuine have picson your profile even if you're dressed but others to show your physique and don't be embarrassed you are here everyone has sex its life, people use the label vanilla but sex is sex it doesn't change because you're here it just means you'll have partners who generally get more of it than you've been used to, many women here are looking for a relationship so I'd say it's as good a place as any    |
