I was lucky enough to meet Carroll Shelby at a classic car event about 15 years ago. One day I will never forget, truly a legend.

his cars including the latest mustang are incredible beasts.

speed channel in america will be doing tributes in between the nascar track sessions over the weekend.

The AC Ace, AC Cobra, Ford Mustang to name the more famous of his creations.

He knew all there was to know about about the building of solid cars and certainly knew how to produce the most awesome of engines the same as Dick Landy did too.

What a talent the man had. He will forever be remebered for the Cobras, Mustangs and other US legends but he also developed the British Sumbeam Alpine into the V8 engined Sunbeam Tiger, that was one of the few British muscle cars of the 60s.

True, his talents were endless when he was developing new ideas.
