I know these are difficult times for everyone. Being made to isolate ourselves at home can be very stressful, especially so if there is little or no money coming in.
But there is one sector of our society which has, up to now, been sadly overlooked.
They have not once been mentioned in the Prime Minister’s speeches or in the media, but they have homes and families to look after just the same as we all do.
Now that everyone has been told to stay at home these forgotten men and women’s capacity to feed their children has been severely restricted, and I would urge Boris Johnson to offer them generous financial assistance sooner rather than later.
So PLEASE Boris, help our nation’s burglars because at the moment they are finding it impossible to find anything to steal and are experiencing extreme hardship.

Funnily enough, someone tried to break into my sister's house on Monday night. The first night literally everybody in the country would be guaranteed to be at home. Criminal genius right there...  |
