Perfectly fine - just use as normal. Expect more earthy flavours if anything and don't forget not to over rub in the fat and to be delicate when handling scone dough.
Yes, I have been possessed by the ghost of a nana from the 1800s |

"If I make cheese scones with bread flour?
For added interest the flour is about a year out of date "
Add some baking soda. Year old flour is still edible. Scones taste different from different regions anyways. Warm them up and add butter when eating.
Tell us how they turn out as well OP. |

"Should be fine
I read an article about a woman who made bread from her own yeast
So anything’s possible"
Just because a thing is possible does not mean it should be done. Luckily for all concerned scones don't require yeast .
I do have some out of date yeast also.

Seriously you need to check for flour weevils, look like little black specs in the flour, but you'll see them moving around just a little.

Yeah I have. Despite my slovenly ways with checking use by dates I always store flour double bagged. I've had weevils before. |

"Did you stockpile loo roll, OP?
No lol. My flours bbe date is Jan 19, more from not bothering to make bread than stockpiling. I do have a bit of a stock of home made onion chutney though. "
I just meant you might be needing it afterwards
More accurately, Mr might need it! (Ring sting) |

The flour doesn't really mind.
It doesn't know.
I suggest you wake it up with a quick sieve and say to it.......... Hello there Scone flour.
If you say that enough times it becomes truth.
Bung in a bit of raising agent and off you gooooooooooo

Just checked for raising agent. No luck, I'll bravely go ahead without.

"You will get the shits if you don't pronounce scones properly
Will I! Is there a silent letter, is is like Featherstonehough?
Have you ever been to Loughborough?
Nough"
It's actually pronounced Lufbra round this neck of the woods
I think that whoever came up with the proper name had got too many Scrabble tiles lying under their bed |
