So I'm just having a flick through the channels to see if anything decent to watch on Freeview before I delve into Netflix and I stumbled across "Absolutely Ascot"... 
Who the fuck watches this shite? Big Brother got tiresome after the first series novelty wore off but 15 or so years on we now have Made in Chelsea, TOWIE, Housewives of.... Kardashians, Love Island, Katie & Peter (or whatever spin-offs came after) etc etc.
Anyone want to tell me what I'm missing here? There is plenty of other stuff on TV that bores the shit out of me but I can see the appeal to others (Gardening programmes etc) but what's the appeal in watching thick posh/rich/good looking people do nothing particularly interesting?

I've got an 80's film playlist I can access via my Firestick. I'm doing a reverse A-Z so this afternoon's viewing will be Young Guns followed by Uncle Buck.  |

There's weeks to do all that stuff.
Got some post-Xmas bargains from The Works so I'll do some bedtime reading at night and first thing in the morning. Tbh, apart from when I was a kid I've never been a big reader and tend to just read the odd autobiography.
I've got a bedroom to paint as well but seriously lacking motivation.  |
