Michael Gove has just said construction of new homes and builders is a key job
so anyone involved such as joiners, brickie's, plumbers, electricians, roofers, slaters etc building new homes are key builders

Well, I've just been put on shutdown.
Its more on infrastructure jobs, not Doris's kitchen extention.
I dont want to catch this any more than anyone else so decorating your living room can wait I'm afraid! |

I work in the trade .
yesterday I saw a minibus load of groundworkers going to work about 6 of them crammed into a transit minibus.
Most of the vehicles I saw on the road yesterday I would say like70% where commercial.
Vans, lorries etc..
Emergency repairs still need to be done.
Leak's,fire doors not closing, break ins...
A new kitchen and so on is not essential.
Plus most of the merchant's are closed anyway. |

Construction workers sent home after pics on GMB. Not essential work that can't wait they say. But its difficult a lot of people still confused and worrying about paying the bills naturally. |
