Basically if there's any podcasts, audiobooks or radio shows you want to recommend (or not!), then fire away!
I listened to the Radio 4 programme on "woke culture" and was delighted at how Pluckrose was painted as doing poor quslity research for no actually valid purpose other than a prank.
As someone who once believed in woke culture and could have been just as radical as those who don't know better than to not believe, it was really nice to not only see Pluckrose put in place; but also A Woman's Place and "Selena" who pretends to support them. R4 has been known to cater to TERFs in the past so this was really good news. A Woman's Place was even referred to as "a hate group".
I suspect a lot might consider it a waste of time in the current climate but it's so lovely to see Woke Culture being derided as it should be.
Would I recommend this show to anyone? Not necessarily simply because the vast majority of people on both left and right would be alienated.. Reckon the 101 of Woke Culture at the start could have gone into a tiny more detail (but perhaps didn't due to time constraints and/or the PM's announcement).
However, I *would* hesrtily recommend The Boring Talks and Evil Genius.
Both much cleverer, wiyh more personality and heart and funnier. *whispers* plusrusselkanefulfilsavoicekinkididntevenknowihad.
Seriously, listen to the evil laughter he makes... Or the way he says "Stop it, I'm aroused". *wipes blood from nose* |

I have been listening to a pod cast called "How I built this" by Guy Raz.
He interviewed some of the top entrepreneurs about how they started their businesses.
I personally found it very interesting how things started off and the end product was quite different and the struggles they faced.
Also " My dad wrote a porno" says quite promising from the trailer... |
