Does anyone have/has amnesia attacks. I mean true amnesia as apposed to just bad memory.
How do you deal with it.
I have TGA and i deal with it well as had it for years although only diagnosed last year. I deal with it pretty well, but when ive add a long attack or no ive done something quite big and have absolutly no recollection of having done it it does make me feel abit uneasy.
I had an attack last night, maddie is going to afghan and we had been discussing what things for me to send her. I remember the whole conversation.
As far as i can trace back that is all i can remember of last night, wouldnt have realized anything was wrong if i hadnt come down stairs this morning and found two large wilkinsons bags on my table id been too wilkinsons, got EVERYTHING we had discussed on the list in one go, id used my credit card so obviously knew my pin number, have no idea what clothes i wore to go over in or anything. As far as im concerned someone could of just come in and planted the bags on the table during the night |

Now you see thats the problem, i dont know if it is brought on by stress. I only know ive had one if there is some kind of evidence or someone has witnessed it. As said been going on years, the usuall stuff is like not knowing ive spoken to someone on the phone until they have told me later or sit and watch a programme and the next thing its been finished hours.
The worst was when i fell through a full length mirror and broke all my left ribs and lost my mememory for over 48 hours and to this day dont know how i fell through the mirror. I say fell i just have to assume with broken glass everywhere and broken ribs thats what happened |

Its not amnesia but symptoms of having an underactive thyroid is short term memory loss
Im not sure how long you have been untreated for, so perhaps that could have triggered your case |

i dont have underactive tyroid i hav something else although some of the symptoms can be very similar but blood tests showed what it was. tga is something completly different |
