sorry to hear you are not so well, if you are in a lot of pain it's your body telling you there is something very wrong, recommend you see a doctor.

They are dangerous if you exceed the stated dose eg overdose. There is no antidote and they cannot clear them out of your system so if you od you die slowly and they cannot stop it.

some people can only take paracetamol too, cos other drugs will affect other meds they are on.

avoid the painkillers, get out and do something to distract yourself. Get the blood coursing through yer veins.

For post surgical pain relief, consider asking your doctor for codeine. I had to have a nose op last year. I didn't end up using mine as the side effects leave you on the toilet a lot but I've heard they work a treat for pain!

Yeah go for a spritely jogg down too your local heroin dealer and get an intraveins injection of hard drugs, that should do for the pain while keeping fit in the process. ps hope the op wasn't too remove a leg

You can take a mix of painkillers to act as an effective pain relief.

Need to talk to the Pharmisist and make sure you tell him of anything else you have as meds.

This does work as a temporary pain relief.

Good luck.

They work fine for mild things and you can buy off the shelf. If you want stronger then you need to see a doctor as you need to find out what the cause is.

After an op last year my consultant recommended a mix of co-codomal and ibrupofen for constant pain relief. Both are over the counter drugs. Talk to your pharmacist. Good luck x

Don't buy nurophen it's just a brand of ibuprofen at 4x the price. Store brand paracetamol and ibuprofen are the same at about 20-40p a box. Just remember to eat before taking ibuprofen.
