Adoption dilemma

I know perhaps you think I only ever come on with worthless threads and stupid jokes but I do have a serious side as well and would be very grateful for some advice on this delicate subject

My dilemma is as follows all advice welcome...... At what age would it be appropriate to tell my dog he was adopted??

ASAP, but have some treats ready and tell him whilst in the garden I case he has a melt down and try’s to attack anything .. means yr Funiture will be safe but he might shit on the kitchen floor when yr in bed

oh you must tell him from day 1 of adoption or else he will break down at 5 years old when he's old enugh to read his birth certificate and realise your not his birth parent

Tell the dog immediately it might well be relieved and less stressed about its parentage once told.

Our kids keep telling each other they were adopted. I keep telling them it’s not true - I wouldn’t have chosen either of them
