Under the Duvet

So imagine it's week two of your isolation stint.

All the good food went in the first week.

(The emergency stash of Celebrations didn't make it past day two, but let's draw a veil over that).

The chicken nuggets and random unmarked casseroles have come and gone out of the freezer.

The pasta mountain is now a mole hill and you'd kill for a fresh tomato or some Ferrero Rocher...

So what would be the very last thing left in your cupboard? The emergency emergency rations?

I'm thinking Bovril for me

There's a tin of soup my mum brought round when I was ill last year that just lives at the back of the cupboard. I don't like soup, it would be a last resort!

Theres a spud under my sink that's been growing for 2 years, maybe this will be the last or it will be my salvation with more spuds

There's nothing in my cupboards that I don't like. Why would I buy something I don't like and stash it away?

Soup or tinned spaghetti for us. bought once in a while, usually when one of us is ill, then left as emergency supplies as we generally eat fresh, home made meals

Tomato soup, I can't stand the stuff but have loads as the wee one loves it. I'd have to hold my nose to resort to that.

I planted one of those once. Kept re growing in the garden for 3 years. Think we keep missing a couple of potatoes when we harvest them.

I have a tin of Asda Smart Price rice pudding that I have no recollection of ever putting in the cupboard. But its always there whenever I have one of my infrequent sort outs, and it always gets shoved to the back afterwards. I think it really will have to be the last option before it's likely to be opened

I do actually. I don't really have milk and I'm sure the kids will hate it anyway
