Irish pubs closing for 2 weeks
Jump to: Newest in thread
Yeah and then the entire country about to go into lockdown. I mean why not. The rest of the world is doing so
Let’s do it here too. I mean the death toll here has doubled in one day, prompting everyone to stay indoors cos it’s so so so bloody dangerous out there. Now the death toll has dramatically shot up to 2 over 80 year olds , the time has come to say fuck this , I’m staying indoors in case it triples to 6 by next week. Scary stuff- I mean c’mon people- 2 people have actually died cos of this shit. Thank his for the Irish government - phew |

We’re pretty much in lockdown over here.
Most of the hospitality industry is closed or about to.
My job finished as of this afternoon for the foreseeable. I work for a small business, and I know this will really hurt my boss.
It’s absolutely for the best though. |

"Rumour has it English pubs between Tuesday-Thursday
Should be done sooner!"

So irish pubs are closing for risk of transmission . Even the little pub in the middle of nowhere with 5 customers and no one has heard of coronavirus .
Yet churches are open with handshakes , , communion, kissing JC. Supermarkets packed with hundreds of people are open . Airport is open. Large shops are open. But must close them pubs . |

Church/mass and all communions and confirmations have been cancelled for a few days. You should double check your info first |

Mrs was laughing when months ago I started putting extra stuff in garage "for a rainy day".
Mainly tinned goods, some frozen. Pasta and rice.
Lots of soap, toilet paper, kitchen rolls, all cleaning products.
She is not laughing now. |

When i said "laughing" what I meant was her calling into question my mental stability.
When she starts loosing weight she will have to retract those hurtful comments..if she wants to eat.
I was in a bar last night and some woman offered me 2 raffle tickets for a pound.
I said ...are you nuts...I can get a whole book of them for a quid in W H Smiths.

I am no expert but I really cant see what shutting pubs for 2 weeks will do... this isnt something that is going to go away quickly.
But then what do I know |
