I think it’s a self fulfilling prophecy. It keeps running out, that causes panic, so when it’s restocked that stock is wiped out too. |

I bought a 24 pack about 3 weeks ago as usual as I was down to my last few, I've not stockpiled any more since then, in fact I've posted a couple to a friend in need. |

I think the people who panic buy are selfish buggers! Fair enough if you bought before all this happened, but now there are soo many items that are just not on the shelves!
Bacterial wipes for example, washing up liquid, fresh veg so many items came up as not available in my Tesco shop today it was unbelievable!  |

New 9 pack purchased in today's big shop, 3 in progress in bathrooms, will buy more when I need them & not before.

6. I buy a 4 pack at a time, usually when I get down to the last 2 or 3 as I really can't be bothered going to the supermarket more than twice a week usually and this shithead virus won't make me change my habits.
Also I've (somewhat spawnily considering the panicking meffs) somehow managed to locate a pack every time I'm running low and visit the shop recently too (though different packets each time due to most being sold out, who cares about brand loyalty as you only use it to wipe your arse) must just be landing at the right times really?

I found an 18 roll pack when I checked, which i must have had for months. I'm going to give it to elderly relatives, who don't drive and I'll find some somehow, as I need to.

28 but that's not panic buying.
2 bathrooms, 2 kids, 36 usually lasts me a month with our monthly shop.
Used for wiping cunts and arses, and runny noses.

Apparently the panic buying is natural as people want to have some control over what appears to an out of control situation. But how long will it be until stocks in the shops go back to normal because those who have felt the need to stockpile have stockpilled as much as much as they think they'll need?
Will they be replaced by wave after wave of copycat stockpilers? Some of them maybe even being folk who are critical of it ATM. |
