There’s loads of songs that take me back to a particular place in time, far too many to list them all. So here are a few:

Dire Straits - Your Latest Trick, this was playing when I lost my V plates

Human League - Don’t You Want Me, takes me back to a freezing cold Christmas party in 1981

Sharleen Spiteri - All The Times I Cried, takes me back to a memorable summer spent with a sexy woman

A town near you perhaps

I have the 80's channel on my radio in my kitchen. Brings back so many great memories. Those were the days.

Where to even start?

Billy Idol's White Wedding, to remind me of the time I drove across America in an old Chevrolet hunting Hunter Thomson.

Pink Floyd's Sheep to take me back to my "first" summer (cough).

Kate Bush's Saxophone Song to remind me of uni interviews and the magical journeys to them.

Tom Petty's Luna to remind me of driving across Salisbury Plain to see some Emma or Carrie or another in the cold, frosty nights of my teens.

*sigh*
