Of course Liverpool are going to win the Premiership cup whether it's next month or even 6 months time.
The remaining matches will have to be played before any new season can start. |

Away for Christmas |
Despite being from Liverpool, I really don't give a fuck about football.
But must feel good to know that your own team is so shite that the only thing to stop Liverpool claiming the title was a viral apocalypse. |

I agree that liverpool will win the title regardless, but the rest of the games do not necessarily have to be played. It's possible the season gets abandoned and current league positions are considered final. Unlikely at this stage but possible |

Premier League can't decide league winners, european places and relegation based on current position otherwise it will turn into a legal minefield and season has to finish before the end if June. |

They will have to complete this season's matches whether it's this year or next, otherwise the FA would get sued for many millions by clubs. |

Probably played behind closed doors with decent deals on Sky and BT Sport so there will be some revenue.
Hopefully it won’t come to that and the league finishes in a decent way, all parties can agree to. |

I went off the game years ago when money and sky sports took it away from the man in the street, but id love to see it voided. They cant relegate/promote clubs on current positions cuz of how tight it is, and ye, lfc are well ahead, but not mathematically un catchable |

The Euro championships will almost certainly be cancelled within next fortnight.
Looking ahead i think other major sporting casualties in next few months will be both the Grand National & Scottish Grand National, the Derby and i think the French Open tennis tournament and possibly even Wimbledon may be goners. |

"And it looks like liverpool still arent going to get to claim the premier league crown hahs
Give it to them now. They deserve it. Painful as it is for a Chelsea fan to say. "
I agree. And I'm an Evertonian |

It's not just Liverpool but it's the euro places, relegation spots too, plus promotions and relegation across all divisions plus the fact that some teams have played more games than others. Cancelling the whole season isn't an option nor is just pausing the leagues and saying that these will be the final positions. So one way or the other all the games will need to be played and Liverpool can rightly earn their crown in the right way |

Exactly, the matches have to be played even if it takes many months before it's safe to play again.
If the FA did the unthinkable and tried to make the season nil and void, they would get sued out of existence by all the clubs affected. |

"Applying a points average to the remaining 8 games is the most logical approach "
Cant do that tho, cuz itd mean doing it for bottom also, and if 3rd bottom has played all too teams, yet 4th bottom hasnt, then thats a massive disadvantage |

How can the fa, or pl get sued, when its beyond their control. Also the issue of players contracts running out on june 1st so unable to play |
