where did i go wrong?

Hi peeps, i was in a resta...restau...cafe earlier and ordered a salad as a starter b4 my main course!

When it finally arrived it looked drab and forlorn, so i asked the waitress if she could possibly toss it for me! I even volunteered to hold it so she could get right into it and toss it properly!

Needless to say, my case comes up at the end of the month!!

Should i have offered a tip first??
