. Fabs is what you want it to be.Some are just here to chat , others just use the forums , others like to see what meets and events are on and turn up , others are looking to meet.Fabs is what you want it to be respect each persons wishes and we will all get along just fine. |

For some people I think it’s purely an attention thing. Women get far more Male attention on here than they do in the real world, generally speaking.
That being said - most females I’ve come across on fab are here for something - be that meets, clubs, just forum chat or even, in some cases, just picture posting.
I can well imagine how disheartening that must be for some men on fab when the pool of women is relatively small anyway - but the rules of fab don’t dictate that it’s compulsory to shag and meet virtual strangers on a regular basis!  |

Maybe they just say that to avoid getting messages, asking them to meet people who don’t fit their particular taste, and they can then freely message those who do, with no pressure.
Maybe they like having a social platform with like minded people to simply chat to.
Maybe, they are just absolute time wasters and fakes who should be thrown to the ground and beaten with a kipper!!
It’s a great mystery...there’s a thread about that- post this to it, might get the answer

Not everyone is here to meet but it isn't Facebook either. Its the statuses talking about their household appliances having packed in or something of the like that might lead you to believe it is Facebook, but it isn't. Maybe a mixture, Facefuck? lol |

No it's not Facebook, you are correct OP.
It is however a site that people can use as they wish, as long as they abide by the site rules, and some people are purely here for the social aspect. |

Once again I ask myself why people worry about how others choose to use the site - people that are clearly using it differently to me are easy enough to avoid.

If I put up I'm meeting.. I get multiples of messages and putting no thanks too.. many get a tennis style return of abuse from them. Something I don't need in life.

Circumstances that I don't have to explain to anyone means at present I'm not meeting but I can chat on forums n fabsters as I believe the rules allow me to do that.
Plus a fabster helped me during a dark time. Never met but his kindness is precious.

This is the only social media site I use so the fora are like an adult FB for me and every now and again I come across a gem who I arrange to meet and fuck. Best of both worlds really |

I just use fab for the odd casual sex meets , not interesting in really getting to know much about peoples lives etc , for me its a very fire and forget setup , enough banter to flow but not spilling life stories .. forums can be amusing entertainment for killing time while working online at same time doing automated stuff .
as others mention people use it for different things .. for me I see it as a sex site ultimately . |

I used to meet but now I'm In a relationship and on whole don't want to meet.
Iv made lots of friends on here that I like to keep in contact with plus I love the social side.
I think alot of people forget that for many this isn't about sex and sexy messages, it's a lifestyle. |

As above there are many reasons why sometimes i want to take a break but still come on the forums. Judging by my inbox it makes no difference to most people. When im asked i'm happy to explain what's going on in my life and i try not to judge people without knowing their reasons. I don't personally use fb a great deal due to the drama that some people wish to share with anyone who'll listen. I find it very sad that the OP has received abuse, we are all entitled to our own opinions. |
