Hypothetically speaking if it was the “end of days” and you had to wait out a year in a bunker that had enough supplies for you to survive for a few years, it had air filtration so there was no risks of you catching it and fresh water that was clean.......

So everything else is covered, what would you take into the shelter to keep you entertained for a year?

A while ago there was a drug that was big in America called bath salts and people on it turned to cannibalism. That was scarier than this.

I was dissapointed with 4. 3 and new Vegas were good although new Vegas was a glitch fest.

There’s no way in hell I’d be going that length of time without seeing my Son. So I’d probably have to evade the Police for a year for taking him with me

I’d take all the Cheese I possibly could.

All my Fly Tying equipment.

Drum sticks and Drum Pad.

Flute.

CD Player, portable DVD player and as many batteries as possible.

And the government never promise to spend £30,000,000,000 on the flu either

"Strange how there's never this level of panic about Flu"

Don’t worry there will be one day, flu is the single biggest threat to our way of life, billions are being spent on preparing for a flu outbreak that will wipe out large swathes of humanity!!

In answer to your question though, seasonal flu has known characteristics and we are able to reliably model the effects and put in place plans to deal with it.

On the other hand Covid-19 is a novel virus and we have little to model the situation on, also from early reports a 3.8% mortality rate is quite high and being a novel virus we have no prior immunity.
