Profiles that say "No nutters"

When you see a profile that only says "No nutters" do you just avoid them or think "Aren't we all a bit nuts in our own way?
I personally think that they've probably got a few nuts knocking about if they say that.

"I doubt that many people self-identity as nutters so it's probably a bit of a redundant thing to say. "
You would be surprised. I know lots of people with mental health issues that refere to themselves as a nutter. Its reclaiming the word back. |

I used to add "no nutters" to my profile(s). I was stalked for 4 weeks by a woman who used her 28yr old daughters pictures in her profile.... when I politely declined her invitation to chat (basically because I went to Starbucks under false pretenses and saw her!) - she flipped.
She must have been in her mid to late 60s.
She apparently followed me home and found out where I lived.... I came off dating sites for years when that happened.
The police only got involved when she started emailing me photos she had taken through my house windows.
even my kids asked on two occasions "who's that dad?"
Anyway - so... I sometime ask for "No Nutters" based on this... |

Oh the 'no nutters/dickheads/mingers' line.
As if anybody would stop ato think "well, I AM an actual nutter/dickhead/minger, so I'd better not message this one!"

If people say things like no nutters, weirdos etc then we find it totally off putting. We find those derogatory names for people, hence we wouldn't want to be associated with anyone who uses such phrases. |

Do we really think that will deter a nutter? I mean isnt the definition of a nutter, someone who will do thier own crazy things? |
