What was your first car?

Yeah, what was your first car?
My first car was a silver 1997 Fiat Punto!
It was actually a great car. I bought it when I was 19/20. I used to drive it to university in my last year there.
What about you? |

A little Talbot Samba with a 954cc engine.
I used to bomb around in it, but with the 4 speed gearbox it used to be interesting at 90 on the motorway if the cars in front were going slower, as dropping to 3rd would have left the engine behind on the carriageway.
Not advocating speeding here of course. Also long before speed cameras. |

A ford transit van, I could barely see over the steering wheel and was thrown around like a rag doll as I drove over the private land of my parents house. I never did get to make it a look a like the GMC A-Team van. I was only 13
First car I could drive legally and on public roads was a lancia delta integrale |

"1975 Series 3 Land Rover... Loved it" snap 1972 series 2a landrover my dad took it off me when he found out the brakes had failed and I was still happily driving around without a care in the world using the handbrake to try and scrub abit of speed off on the hills. The joys of been 17 stupid and no sense of danger.

1984 Chevy Cavalier. Automatic transmission, comfy ride, not made for cornering
Poor man's car as it was only a four cylinder, but as a high school student, no complaints from me! |

1968 G reg Triumph Herald 13/60.
Soon blew up the engine, so I dropped a Dolomite Sprint engine in. That made it fun to drive. Soon changed it for an Alfa Romeo when I was about 18 or 19. |

Red Mini Cooper (proper shape), white roof, white bonnet stripes, four extra spots. Loved her dearly, screamed like a biatch at anything over 60mph, but clocked an impressive (yet reckless) 115 once, down hill with a fair wind. Bloody loved that car. |

Clapped out Renault 5.
Had to slim down a warped cylinder head, didn't half shift with the webber carbs on it after that. Probably aided by the weight reduction due to the holes in the floor |
