Do your pets do odd things?

We have two dogs - Gordon and Stanley (brothers, Irish Wolfhound crosses).

Stanley backs up to the sofa, lifts one leg and sits his bum on the sofa. Like a hooman

Also, every time I go to the freezer to put ice in my drink, hr has to have an ice cube to munch.

Do your pets do weird/endearing things?

I used to have a cat that liked to have a mad half hour every night, literally running around the room on the walls, acrobatics the lot! Proper Olympian for 30mins a day

One of my cats, Nkosi, loves to crunch on plastic wrapping. It has to make the right crunch or he is not interested. They all come swimming with me, but that is not unusual for Maine Coons.

my gsd sits his bum on the couch and legs on the floor like a human too. Also if I'm peeling carrots and potatoes I have to give both my dogs a few slices. They sit waiting patiently

It will not be long before I have to go away and leave them all again.

I hope to be back when the lake has thawed though - they are not so keen on ice-skating

Good idea Maybe a cat-cam collar too? I tried one on the biggest boy, Babiaan, and he lost it within 20 minutes. I saw a view of a tree and the sky for 2 weeks before the battery ran out. Never did find it, so that was the end of that

most fundamental aspects

My cat wears my slippers.

He will lie down in front of the sofa and put his front two paws into them. When I get up, I have to wrestle them off him so I can put my own feet in

Haha, love that. Saw a collar in our pet shop yesterday. It was luminous and flashed, so handy for finding your cat at night

I have a chicken that likes to come in the house and hang out with us. She had an obsession with sitting in the washing machine at one point.

Nearly all my pets have been a bit weird. Not sure if I've got a knack of picking them or I'm a weird influence.

I currently have a cat who randomly stares at you down corridors or from under things and if you get too close when he's doing it he'll run away screaming. He also runs down the corridor screaming randomly. Sometimes in the middle of the night. He also harasses you to turn the tap on so he can drink fresh water, often when he's forced himself into the bathroom while you're on the loo (the lock doesn't work). He also likes sniffing your head and eyebrows which can be a bit awkward with guests. You can't leave plates around, even in the sink if they have sauce left on them as he gets at it. He once got into a used jar of tikka masala sauce we hadn't washed out yet and ended up with an orange face and paws for days.

German Shepherd, who does not act like a German Shepherd does

If he thinks a visitor has been sat on the sofa too long he will tug your arm to pull you off.

He likes a cushion to rest his head on and will drag it off the sofa to go and lay down with it.

He prefers ginger biscuits and jelly sweets and yoghurt over meat treats and bones

He will have a conversation with you by grumbling back when you talk, will change the intonation as well.

Thinks he is in charge of the cat, he will herd her to the door to go out or to her dinner bowl.

He is lazy, and a crap gaurd dog. sleeps flat on his back all legs in the air.... My son came round while I was at work and he never never woke up.

My boy said he went into my bedroom to check the fluffy article was still alive, my dog opened his eyes, huffed and went back to sleep.
