Foreplay is an outmoded concept based on the assumption that penetrative sex is the culmination of a sexual encounter. Kissing for me is absolutely integral to a sensual sexual experience with my partner(s). I would feel something fundamentally missing without it in most intimate sexual situations. However in group scenarios and less intimate scenarios it isn’t necessary to have a good time. I’ll always prefer any sexual encounters if they involve a lot of kissing.
