There was no problem with the concept of flying a flag, but this particular one (a) wasn't the real IWD flag, (b) was put up by a known hate group that seeks to deny the gender of not just transwomen, but anyone with the slightest masculine cast to their features.
Similar situation to say the BNP getting a town hall to fly a flag with the words "british: noun, white person born in england" on st georges day...
I understand that the council have now been given a real IWD flag and all is well. |

I know it's on Sunday I was just stretching it out to a whole weekend 
There are many wonderful ladies in my world which means a lot to me because I'm an only child I don't have my parents anymore. That said I'm also blessed to know some wonderful men too.
But I'm also sure we should all be championing ourselves too. Realising actually we are pretty awesome. It's not about appearances, status, material wealth etc. It's about our inner strength, courage, kindness, compassion and spirit. |
