A few years .. the way the bbc are going into over drive with this corona virus it’s lucky if we all wake up tomorrow.. so I’d say sod the kids and book the flight today |

We did exactly that , best 3 weeks ever. Pm if you need any India travel tips , it’s a lot easier/cheaper than most people think and you really don’t need to book anything in advance. A lot of the advice on trip advisor forums is wrong / misleading from touts and tour guides posing as travellers |

Good old lonely planet is often much more useful for independent travel. But often you don't need anything at all - everything is negotiable and possible day at a time ! And the must see and do things are usually the worst choices. Taj Mahal - yawn, Jain temples - unmissable. |
