"I like night shifts. I can get on with tasks I don't have the time to do on regular shifts. Plus I can have Netflix on.

Worked 3 shifts, 2 shifts permanent days but not being an early morning person I prefer the nightshift dont have trouble sleeping during the day and still have time during the day to run errands only dislike is days off go too quick |

Night shifts are good to get out of the normal politics and bit ching of day shifts.
However I am awful at sleeping during the day. So far I have managed 4hrs today. Tonight is not going to be much fun for me (or my colleagues) |

Blackout blinds & curtains are your very best friend, I swear it’s darker in my bedroom during the day than it is at night! |

I loved nights at Christmas time finished work just in time for shop's opening doing my shopping and then not worrying about fighting the whole mad world of people trying to buy a last minute tin of peas etc |

That’s not good - I do 1800-0600, bed by 0700 and normally wake about 1430 nothing wakes me unless it’s an Amazon delivery driver trying to get me to take a neighbours package  |

Been doing permanent nights for over 30yrs, love them, I can sleep in for as long as I want and will never be late for work, I get to do stuff during the day when it's quiet, I miss all the rush hour traffic but best of all I don't have to get up at stupid o'clock in the morning  |
