Have you stocked up?
Apparently the cardboard inserts in most recent batches of supermarket paper are from China and are infected with the corona stuff.
If you’ve stocked up and used any in the last week then Quickly return it to the shop and apply a generous finger of deep heat to your sphincters. |

this is a new wacky theory. Not read this one yet... I think I'll be okay though as they have proved now that the life span of this infection on surfaces is max of 5 days. And I'm sure it takes longer than that for them to get from China to the toilet rolls and then to me x |

The biggest problem with this Corona virus thing is the Media, blowing things up out of all proportion and causing people to panic unnecessarily.
It's as dangerous as the Flu - in fact, it is a Flu.
Those most at risk are the elderly.
Did anyone hear about the first Brit to die from the Coronavirus? Yep, you guessed it, he was in his 80's
Which age group usually gets picked off by flu? Yep, the elderly.
The circulation of internet memes on facebook isn't helping either.
No, it can not be killed with alochol.
I'd even bet that this 'news' about the toilet rolls is also likely to be fake. |

There is no evidence COVID-19 would survive on any surface, especially not a dry one like cardboard, for more than a couple of hours. There is zero chance of toilet rolls or any packages from China being a source of infection. It's simply not how the virus behaves. It's droplet transmission, principally person to person, but would last on surfaces (especially wet ones) for several hours. |
