Hi Fabbers
I have chosen to be hairless (wish I had a choice on my barnett) based on some feedback that it adds at least 5 years and also it can be off putting while kissing or causes irritation while going down.
What are your thoughts?

I shaved mine of a few weeks ago, out of boredom mainly but thought I might look a bit younger. Unfortunately I looked about 10 years older, looks like it's here to stay now. |

"I have a big unkempt beard and very long scruffy dreads (mr ) hence the rob zombie name! My Mrs likes it so I’m not bothered about the opinion of others regarding my appearance! As a side note, I often get lovely smiles from ladies whilst out and about, I walked into a pub on Saturday night just gone and a lady who was with some people we know but I aren’t acquainted with in any way turned to me and said, “I want to kiss you!” I can’t be that hideous have whatever appearance you want, don’t let the opinions of others condition your wishes to be a peacock if that’s what you want
I had a long one also till i was attack due to it "

I'm not one for full-on beards,I prefer a man that's clean shaven though I have made an exception for a close cropped one.
I feel that apart from the aging effect, it hides too much face and I really like to see strongly defined jawlines and chins ...and naked necks |

Not for me. Have a real problem with hair. One hair gets in my food and I instantly gag and can’t eat anymore. Not quite a phobia but still not pleasant. The idea of kissing a man with hair that close to his mouth is not something I can cope with.
Although my nan used to tell me kissing a man without a beard is like eating an egg without salt.
Like my eggs without salt too! Haha |

Proper beard here...never grown it this long before but I like it and the majority of people say it suits me...I shave my head so clean shaven isn't an option as I look odd |

No I don't agree! A styled beard is very on trend right now. I think if the man grooms his beard, just like us ladies do with our nails, lashes, brows and everything else looking good entails, then a beard can make a man look youth full and hide a multitude of sins!
When my husband shaves his skin looks leathery and I think that makes him look older than when he has a beard that tends to hide it! |

I hate any hair unless its on their head and short. Causes too much irritation for me. But have to say some men look way better with facial hair. |

I gagged for hours trying to remove a hair from being with a bearded man... Never again. Most disgusting feeling ever. |

Mr has a goatee that I love, but anything above a nice trim beard doesn’t do it for me. Some men suit it but I can’t get over the thought of kissing all that hair x |

I like the look of beards but I'm suspicious of anything too bushy - I'm a fan of strong jawlines and fear they may be hiding a weak chin.
I generally prefer stubble/close trim to a completely smooth face. However I can get the most terrible stubble rash - red, peeling, sore skin. Woe is me!
And I'd agree that beards make people look older: that doesn't generally bother me if they're well-kempt. |

Dont want to put a dampener on this thread but did you know that according to an actual survey commissioned by Guinness, 193,000 pints of Guiness gets wasted in beards and moustaches annually in the UK |

Beards are super sexy and its never bothered me if they go down on me or kiss me. Only if hard stubble would I be abit red.
I never fancy smooth faces xx |

Must admit, a beard makes me look older as it’s got quite a bit of white in it now but it does suit me and couldn’t really give a toss if it ages me!
That said, it only takes a few weeks to go from clean shaven to full Chewbacca so I’m not precious about it and it comes and goes, right now I’m sporting stubble as wife actually likes the feeling of it when I’m down below.

I think it's an entirely individual thing.
Stubble, coarse stubble, when going down isn't pleasant. |
