Everyone is a little geeky about something. A passion that they may obsess a little too much about. Be it music, film, comics, toys, games...
So lets share what we’re particularly dorky about and hopefully make new friends.
Personally, I adore Scifi/Horror movies, love my Alternative music, and love games. I’m also partial to the odd book and comic. I’m quite the geek it seems.
“ When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”
C.S. Lewis

Nice!
Anything Ghibli is amazing. My Manga is limited, but love the work of Junji Ito. |

"Love me some comic books to point where I own a comic shop "
The dream. Looked into it, but never got past initial planning and speaking with distribution like Diamond. |

Ha! Cheers. This was a fair while ago. Since decided to move into a equally geeky and nightmarish business. |

Mostly fantasy for me although I'm about halfway through " Remembrance of Earth's Past" by Liu Cixin and enjoying that.
Always loved a good (epic) RPG, too, although I rarely have enough time for them anymore. |

Most people are nerdy about something. Football fans with their encyclopaedic knowledge of team wins and losses and player records. Music fans who can tell you which label released an obscure album in 1973. Gardeners who can tell the health of a plant at a glance. It’s glorious.
For my part, I’m a reader, a comics fan, an SF and fantasy enthusiast, a history buff, a cook/baker, a tabletop gamer and a console gamer. I believe in having a broad range of interests. :D |

I'm a railway enthusiast.
What category do I come under ?
As a kid I had a model train set I played with.
Now as an adult I don't play with train sets.
I play with real trains instead. |

I'm an odd one. I have too many interests to be able to get properly obsessive about any of them. So I end up with more knowledge than the average person with no special interest in the subject, but lacking the depth of the true nerd. |

"I'm a totally science and Welsh mythology geek. "
Ancient Welsh folk lore states that any hot red headed welsh girl has to get naked with me just stating a little known myth |

"We're a bit geeky..
Sci fi, horror, Ghibli, alt music, comics, post apocalyptic, fantasy, crafts, photography..
Always happy to chat to and meet (socially or otherwise..) like minded people! "
Probably should have added games. Video and board. |
