What to order in a restaurant? Typically do you
Scan the menu until find something you like the sound of and just order that.
Like above but read it a couple of times just to be sure it’s the right choice
Ask lots of questions about the food
Often struggle to decide , studying the menu and pondering for a while
Usually chose from the specials or ask for a recommendation
Know what you want and then look for it on the menu
Know what you want and often don’t even check the menu
Let someone choose for you

"Last night, i let somebody choose for me
But generally i have narrowed it down and ask the serving staff for their recommendation"
That’s very trusting, did he/she make a good choice ? I love ordering for Mrs, food and the wine , but after 27 years I think I know her tastes well |

Usually something that cant go wrong. Never meat because I'm fussy with chicken and I like steak or pork etc burnt (black), even a roll and sausage or bacon from a Gregg's or the equivalent I wont entertain because the meat is pink, fish I wont touch unless I've cooked it.
Safe bets are mac and cheese or baked potato, pasta in sauce, chips, sandwich, boring but saves paying for something I want eat and looking like a twat. |

I don't think I could let anyone order for me. Even when I'm going over to someones place for dinner I need to know in advance what they are going to be making us. |

I’m weird, I work backwards. I look at desserts first, to work out if I REALLY want a dessert, then calculate whether I can warrant starter and main course! |

I spend ages choosing then when I’m absolutely sure of what I want I place my order. As they walk away with the order I call them back and change my mind. When the food comes I often feel like I should have kept with my first choice |
