We are both runners, Mr is also a rock climber.
I (her) train not just to keep fit and lose weight but also i find it extremely beneficial for my own mental wellbeing. I have been known to take a half day off work to get out for a long run when stressed. I always feel better after a run through the beautiful welsh countryside with my music on. |

I make and decorate cakes and do florist and jewellery making.
Although hoping to go back to school in September and do an access course to lead to midwifery |

After getting thoroughly burnt out on an extremely difficult language several years ago, I'm tinkering in learning new languages. I write as a hobby, although at the moment mostly on Fab. I play with makeup, that sort of counts. And I like lifting heavy shit |

"I’ve started a degree, found out today that I’ve passed my first assessment.
I write erotica as a hobby. "
Congrats, I graduated last year with the OU, always learning
I also enjoy recurve archery, which is a mindful and surprisingly relaxing way to pass the time, and suits me as an ambivert (can enjoy solo or with teams). |

Everyone I know who has done access to HE, including myself, says its one of the best decisions they ever made. Good luck!
I do qigong and mentoring, main hobbies - running, gym, some street photography abroad, wilcamp once or twice a month in the UK peaks |

My main hobby is born out of necessity, I enjoy fixing cars and cant wait for the nicer weather as it's a bit pants in winter, I've even restored a couple of classics. I used to enjoy photography and art but they've fallen by the wayside over recent years. |

Bugger all, I guess that's why I keep going round and round in circles.
Basically I look at clothes and shoes I would like.
I wonder how I would feel if I had them, would I feel special?
I can't afford them so then I look at how I'd like to decorate the house and do the garden.
I can't afford those either.
I'll do some guided meditation to remind me to be thankful for the things I do have etc.

War gaming club - my geek retreat, sociable and lots of fully grown dudes squinting at models looking for line of sight. Also very tactical.
Drumming - done it for years
Blacksmithing - because why the fuck not, got an axe to forge this weekend |

Both of are wargamers and miniature painters. Both try and fail to keep fit.
C- makes awesome cakes and does the occasional cross-stitch when just chilling.
M- apart from the stuff already mentioned plays airsoft. Something about fitness, friends and trying to keep some old military skills sharp. (I reckon he likes playing dress up and getting muddy lol.) |

Motorcycle riding especially bike racing and off road riding. The buzz, adrenaline is unreal. The feeling you get when you win or do well is fantastic
I love it when I beat people less than half my age. Also it keeps me fit, feeling young and motivated.
On a quieter note, I swim lots and enjoy yoga. They both give nice, almost relaxed feelings. |

I play wheelchair basketball - made some cracking friends who are as filthy minded as me and who get it. If winning games is success, then we're failing. If it's having a whale of a time and doing some exercise, it's all going swimmingly.
S paints miniature figures - it's a combination of relaxation and sense of achievement for him. He tries to do 30min every night but life sometimes gets in the way. |

I used to run with a group of ladies (Mrs). I need to get back into doing this as I do very little exercise these days.
Honestly, I don't do much for myself of late. Need to fix that |

Carpentry. I was a complete dunce with DIY but somehow managed to make a cabin in my garden last summer. Scratch making some of the parts for it was something I quite enjoyed so I carried on learning.
I really enjoy working with and making something out of wood. It’s very therapeutic. |

Photography and writing. And gradually your house is getting sorted.
Oh and in your case being an angel for those who need you, IMHO.

I bake cakes and feed them to my bandmates when we rehearse. I've written a few songs and poems. I do radio broadcasting, and also train others in broadcasting. I curate stages at local festivals and I even find time to go to work so that I can earn enough to carry out my hobbies |

Used to race motor cars, got quite successful, but lack of spare funds and work commitments has curtailed that hobby.
Now I just skittle instead, I’m pretty good at that too now, after 30 odd seasons of playing I’ve finally gotten the hang of it. |

"stuff"
I'm sure you know this already but it makes you happy for a limited time and then you're exactly the same after.
I have to admit to looking at you with a little envy.
You have a gorgeous boyfriend and it appears you have lots of friends and a great social life.
I have lots of stuff but no significant other, no family and no friends in my area - so a limited social life.
I dont have hobbies either - other than drinking wine and buying stuff- which was the point of the thread
I need to get a life!

I do nothing.
My life revolves around my mum and my kids. And my dog.
But i’m happy enough. I just enjoy peace and quiet when i get it and the occasional knobbing, when i can get that
Oh, and Ebay. I do love a bit of Ebay. |

I got a little leaky eyed reading that.
I've looked at you with the same! I love the way you are open about stuff, tell it like it is, and having your new home.
I do have a gorgeous boyfriend and I know I'm very lucky. He's lucky too, coz I am awesome.
I know what you mean about family and friends in the area. All my family are 150 miles away, I don't drive and work almost every weekend anyway so would struggle to see them even if I could drive. I do have some amazingly beautiful friends though. I'm talking those who love me for me and only ever want what's best for me. I'm eternally grateful to them and I appreciate so much having them in my life. I don't really see them very often though, socially I see a group of them a few times a year. Mainly my social life is the fab forums and cracking funnies at the tables I'm waiting at work.
Me and B head out to the odd social which we really enjoy.
The rest of my social life is chatting to Bs workmates and being a surrogate mum and auntie to them!

I'm at a standstill with most things that i used to do. Gave up running several years ago when i started feeling the wear in my hips and knees. Slowed down on my reading. Doing a bit of software writing in my spare time, but that's my day job as well. Been suffering from a degree of depression since my mother passed away just over two years ago. Used to help with transgender support groups, but now putting that energy into supporting myself. Even been distancing my self from friends through this winter, when i had a long illness.
Urghh, i sound tragic! Hopefully now that we're on the cusp of spring I'll regain some energy and interest in life, maybe start picking up the pieces. |

I set out to learn BSL after meeting someone who gave a presentation and fielded questions from the floor all done in sign with an interpreter.
I got a DVD but haven't managed to get to grips with it yet.
I can get through in French German and Spanish but would love to be able to crack BSL. Sadly it takes practise and that's where my problem lies. |

I enjoy kayaking. I do quite a bit of flat water paddling to keep myself in trim, plus I like the peace and stillness it gives me when I'm feeling stressed. If I feel like something a bit more exciting, I'll tackle some white water - anything up to grade 5, but grade 3 is fine for a relaxed river trip.
I also like going out for a run on a motorbike. I have a bit of a collection which allows me to pick whichever suits my mood.
Music and festivals are fun too, and I try to get to at least half a dozen each summer. I do it in proper comfort though - can't beat glamping.
More related to here, I enjoy writing stories and erotica (a couple of short stories linked from my profile), as well as dreaming up and building dungeon devices and furniture. I can design and build pretty much anything I set my mind to - anything from bondage stockades to off-grid PV systems.
I have other interests and hobbies too, but you'll need to ask. |

Very little now. I used to be a HUUUUUGE boardgame nerd, but that's faded away massively, not least from all this distracting me.
Self improvement... now outside of fitness (I appear to have a pretty decent bod these days!) I should probably start some real serious thoughts about meditation or something. Get some skills on finding inner peace and self belief, rather than getting so wound up by the internets and feeling so bitter about life! |

Meet-up app is really good I used to use it a lot when I was in the UK more. Lots of communities now use it to promote existing meet ups. Been to some fun meet-ups in the past, very friendly everything from drumming collectives, business start ups , cafe scientific, self publishing books , horror lovers. There’s also a similar one called internations for people who travel |
