So I took the plunge and did the match.com thing and have a date today.
I'm pretty nervous but I have to say it's quite refreshing to have not seen his bits or him seeing pics of me in my pants.
However, it's been a long time since I've done this and feeling very nervous now.
Given that so many of the guys profiles on there specify their criteria to the point of what you weigh, I'm surprised anyone contacted me at all, which has left me convinced he will either be disappointed or I will be bored!
When did you last have a date and how did it go?

I think it's better than tinder or the fish site in that people tend to not be looking for a hook up.
The jury is out still.

My last date was early last year, with the second runner up from 2015's most boring man of the year competition. He treated me to a 20 minute lecture on the carpets of Wetherspoons, downed so many pints of water I was worried he was going to suggest peeing on me, then went to the toilet and sprinted at full pelt across the pub to very loudly announce he'd just had the biggest wee he'd ever done.
There was no second date, but I did walk away with a great non x-rated story that I can actally tell my mates, so it was all good! |

Aww I hope it goes really well for you. Nerves are good but just be yourself. Hopefully your date puts you at ease. Keep us posted on how you get on.

Hope he fits the bill for you and is a gentleman... some people I work with have had issues with Men on dating sites and some have got married after meeting on them....so be safe and look after yourself ... |
