Yesterday, unconventionally, it was peanut butter.
Depends how much time I have -
Lashings of hot melted butter and 2 poached eggs.
Or thin shred marmalade.
Or both. Just not in the same piece of toast |

"Proper butter with lemon curd or cherry jam . But the toast has to be cooled down to the right amount before you apply the butter otherwise it is disgusting. "
Definitely with you on the lemon curd and cherry jam, especially morello or black cherry..yummy, they are my favourites but like my toast hot |

Just butter (or to be more precise Clover spreadable) applied as soon as the toast pops out of the toaster so it melts into the toast
I'll occasionally add marmalade or jam, but dripping with just butter is perfect |
