Ok I love you all dearly but most (not all) sit around most of the day thinking about babies, flowers, butterflies and pretty things.

Do you really think they should be allowed to vote? Now most can ramble on about some issues n stuff but lots of it is just bits n pieces they've heard husband say n then put it all together usually in the wrong order. I think important decisions should be left to the men, now they put some thought into putting a tick in a box.

Sadly, I know some people who genuinely think that way.

I am beginning to think that the op needs to get out from under his bridge.

We are so far behind the times now... if you go back to early civilisations you would realise that men and women were equals as both had jobs to do..

Luckily for men, women havent yet worked out how to get pregnant without sperm

I think people should take threads here in the manner most are intended.

Not too seriously

I kind of agree with that as for a very long time, I followed my parents and voted for labour just because they did. Then I stopped bothering because I didn't actually (not that I understand politics much) agree with what they say.

Yes we should vote as some of us have strong opinions, some of us don't just follow the partner, and we are capable of making our own minds on who to vote for and who not to

Maybe the 'adults' should withdraw to the drawing room with their scotch and cigars and talk about serous stuff in a serious manner....

Yes I know, I was just showing both sides, my difficulty is now deciding who to vote for. On the other hand no-one can decide that Mrs so and so down the road at no 42 shouldn't be allowed to vote because she only follows her husband

Sometimes I wonder whether the right to vote should be connected to some kind of education about what it is that people are voting for. Judging by some comments I have seen and heard, not just here, I wonder whether we have got it right

I would make people who want to vote take an IQ test and restrict below par people from voting. Alas many men would be losing their rite to vote if that happened.
