I’m deaf in one ear (and wear an aid). When I talk I’m very loud, any tips on how I can teach myself to speak quieter, obvs I could just try speak quieter but I obviously don’t know how loud i am! |

Turn your hearing aid UP, it's obviously isn't compensating enough.
When Anita first got her hearing aids, she was practically whispering as she was hearing herself much louder.

Turn your hearing aid UP, it's obviously isn't compensating enough.
They’re preset
When Anita first got her hearing aids, she was practically whispering as she was hearing herself much louder.

"I've struggled with this my whole life. It's absolutely exhausting trying to regulate my volume. I tend to start every new interaction with a pre emptive warning/apology.
