Best way to get rid of sinus pressure build up.

Had a shitty cold, sneezes and blocked nose for over a week now, the pressure in my sinuses is driving me insane.

Any recommended remedies ?

You could try a sinus rinse kit.

Hot shower and a good strong sportsman nose blow. Don't do it in the bath as it will be like someone has popped oysters in with you

"Vicks in a bowl of hot water. Towel over your head."

I was just going to suggest this. Works well for me.

The other thing is to gentle tap along and around the brow bone.

North East Scotland, mostly

Nasal douche. Pint of water, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp bicarb. Mix until it dissolves. Then hold one nostril closed and squirt 10ml up the other one, whilst inhaling gently. Do the same on the other side. Then plenty blowing of your nose. Do this over a sink!

It's grim, but it does work.
