Just started watching it and love it, love it, love it. Love the costumes, the accents, the storyline and that it’s set in Birmingham.
What about you? Or do you have another series you prefer? |

It’s quite amazing how they shot some of the scenes |

The nearest it gets to Birmingham is the Black Country Museum. Most of it is filmed on Merseyside. Sorry...
I enjoyed the first few series. Think the last series with Oswald Moseley wasnt so good. Lack of tension in the assassination attempt when you know that he died peacefully in 1980. |

I’ve seen it all, everyone dies!
Nah, not really but it’s one hell of a show! Some real cliff hanger endings, easy to binge watch...like I did the first 4 seasons |

Love Peaky Blinders, , Rodney Bewes wasn’t a Brummie in the likely lads , him and James Bolam were Northern Lads! Kevin Whatley played a Wolverhampton man In auf wiedersehen pet and people thought he had a Brummie accent!
My name who was from that area of Birmingham told me about the peaky blinders 30 years before the series. They weren’t quite what they are shown as! Billy Kimber was real, I know relatives of his, he was a genuine gangster. |

Oh I don’t care about where it was filmed. Wasn’t around 100 years ago anyway. Just love when they write where in Birmingham they are. As far as later series are concerned, going to start with series 2 very soon |
