Another show that I can’t understand. Why would you want to go on national television to advertise the fact you have an sti?
Or even embarrass yourself by flashing your bits?
I suppose the positive is it brings awareness about certain things. It’s just a weird premise for a show.

There and to the left a bit |
Not seen it but if it raises awareness and isn't done in a tacky way it has to be a good thing surely?
As for people appearing on it - fair play that they are open enough to appear and in some ways it (a) shows they take their sexual health seriously and (b) presumably shows they are cured for that instance - so not sure the effect of appearing would be all negative |

What brings awareness is good regardless, what better way for people to understand it actually could happen to them.
Lots of people think it won't happen to them they won't be a statistic. It's a rude awakening when it does. Seeing reality on tv, normal folk being open about it then it can only do good. People think it's only promiscuous people and sex workers who carry stds when it can be as simple as catching it the 1st time you have sex or new relationship.
Now I don't watch tv I haven't seen it but I have seen on FB clips of stigma of herpes and different women dealing with genital herpes hsv1 and hsv2. The stories behind how they caught them and living with it.
I think they are incredibly brave standing up and admitting it, talking about how it effects them.
It if helps spread knowledge and awareness that encourages testing then all is good. |

It’s a weird show as the people chat in the waiting room as though it’s a good thing they are there. But there is the awareness it brings I suppose. |

Will keep an eye out for it - but suspect the waiting room bit is a set up for the telly - normally when I go to the clinic everyone stares at their feet |

"It's nothing like the clinic I visit.
It's been a strange night on Tv tonight, that and on BBC4 a program following a gay porn star. "
I've recorded the porn star programme.
Does anyone know what channel the sexual health programme was on? |
