Anyone know how this is done? There are loads of fake profiles on Fab which have hidden verifications though I suppose if someone creates multiple fake accounts they can then verify themselves.
But if that's the case how do the profiles get past the "face pic" verification stage?  |

Haha nah am I fuck!  Just annoying how many blatantly fake profiles there are on here that clog the site up (same with POF, Tinder etc as well).
So many trolls and scammers floating about and would be nice to see the dirtbags wiped off the internet for good!  |

Yeah I've done that. Just re-checked the profile and it's not been photo verified either.
Don't think any profile should be made visible to other users until it's had a photo veri by admin tbh. |

Beware of the Russians apparently? That's according to the citizens of Georgia of course? And is the internet not the last bastion of free speech according to the latest news? Which of course means it's an open house to everyone, even the most basic idiot who's mastered a keyboard? |

Don't worry about what other people may do, just report any suspicious inappropriate behaviour to admin. Admin can then investigate, using their broader powers.
A lot of us aren't interested in displaying a veri for every meet we've had, just using them to reflect that we are who we say we are with reliability.
It's up to us users to help to fish out what seems wrong but also to take responsibility for our own decisions. People can have single and couples profiles but only verify other people, not themselves.
Perhaps a new veri every couple of years needed would help those who rely on older ones, perhaps people who left the site etc.
Put the emphasis on your own methods to filter unsuitable people, not relying on others too much. |
