It’ll just trickle out

To help it gently move your head to the side

I’ve had my head tilted for about 20 mins

Tried jiggling my ear lobe and rubbing behind my ear (a lot)

The water shifts but it’s still there

Even tried a cotton bud. Gah

The Valsalva Manoeuvre can be quite effective, lots of Swimmers use it.

"And I can’t get it out.

I had this the other day and got some ear-drops, turns out it wasn't water in my ear, just feeling like I had water in my ear (that makes sense to me, leave it).

Upshot is it led to toothache, and was a mild ear infection, which was sorted by using ear drops, drove me bonkers for a while.

Unless of course you have just had a bath or shower in which case, stick your head on a radiator.

I think it would be best to maybe leave it now, especially after trying that much it will run out when it's ready.

if you put a little bit of tissue in your ear (with enough poking out so you can safely extract) then that will do the trick. Don't push the tissue all the way in, just in the opening.

Pop a bit of rice in your ear, soaks up water a treat. Then start another thread asking how to get the rice out

I find if when head is tilted give it a good slap on the other side tends to dislodge it

visiting the beach

Bit late to the party now.

However, my method is to tilt head and jump a couple of times. Usually does the trick...

No sarcasm at all! I was genuinely ready to chop my own ear off
