Serious comment OP - I'm not that far off your age but don't think of myself as "old-ish" and wouldn't like to think of someone wanting to meet me (or not) because of my age, more because I am me regardless of the number of candles on my cake  |

Whilst I agree to an extent (and for the record gave a sensible response myself) - if it had been a woman posting it with a similarly constructed profile - the thread would have been full of desperate men falling over themselves to tell her how gorgeous she was and that age didn't matter.
Which in itself is just as bad, and possibly worse. |
