I go through phases but I always go back to a pint of strongbow.. Unless I'm in Ireland where I like a pint of Murphys or Guinness if its a good pint.

I don't think I've seen Tennants in a pub. Only in 9% cans.

NW London

It's a bit seasonal, in the cold months a nice Guinness. In summer it's a refreshing lager like Camden Hells

Guinness in mainstream places.

Or if there’s a decent craft stout on then I’ll always go for that.

P.s murphys is much better than Guinness. Guinness has perfected their marketing of the nitrogen and charges a lot for the trouble. (It’s no different to John smiths or any other creamflow)

I've heard people in Scotland ask for a "pint of heavy", no bloody idea what it is though but sounds lethal

In Cardiff they have a bitter called Brains. It's good but like Guinness they say it doesn't travel

I don’t understand this myth, it’s a pasteurised beer. There’s no finings in the beer that will spoil if it’s moved around too much like the “three movements” rule of thumb of a cask.

Maybe it’s stuck from the days when it was unpasteurised.

I don't know but some people say it tastes better in a busy pub when it's costantly flowing and with Guinness they say it tastes better served from a short tube.
