just finished watching the second series on Netflix and if anything it was better than the first.
However I have some questions.
Where and when exactly is it supposed to be based.
It's a secondary school ,but has all the characteristics of a private school.
Not sure if it's supposed to appeal to Americans wanting to be English or the other way around.
The set and props appear to be early 80's people driving around in Austin Princess and very old Volvo's. Yet having mobile phones and texting is a huge part of the show.
Is everyone gay?
Where are the parents whilst all this shagging is going on.
It's permanently sunny.
Where are the town folk and the town?
Hardly any car's or people but an amazing nightclub London would be proud of.
It's extremely confusing.
But tackles the whole subject brilliantly, well written and well acted, great humour but also handles lot's of difficult subject matters. |
