So let's say Harry found out and it takes 6-8 hours to fly back from Canada (assuming they don't travel on some sort of supersonic aircraft), that means Philip would have died hours ago and news would have broken by the time Harry touched down. Not buying it. |

I think there's rules when a member of the royal family dies, a friend of mine loves anything royal. I'm sure she said any deaths are announced on the morning after. |

There is a set protocol and I think there are pre prepared statements for each royal. I was told broadcasters often rehearse as well so they get it right. Could be wrong of course. |

Not entirely true. Her death was in an accident and very much an exception but protocols exist for expected deaths |
